One of our first initiatives was inspired by our dedicated residents, many of whom are retired teachers, who raised over $1,100 in donations to purchase essential school supplies for District 45 Early Child Center students and families.
Roosevelt residents took great joy in filling donated backpacks with these vital school supplies, knowing they would soon be in the hands of children and families at the Villa Park Area Early Childhood Collaborative’s Back-to-School Resource Fair.
The Roosevelt Gives Back is also heavily involved in supporting other worthwhile organizations. We raised over $2,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association by holding a local car wash. Residents also put their best feet forward by participating in this year’s Naperville Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
